Toscana, on the night of her 50th birthday had a vivid dream of being with her one true love. A trip to Italy for the Chocolate Festival without her husband and a chance meeting with history professor Flynn had her discovering herself and the one for whom her heart beat in the past life and the present.

A beautifully written story by Nanette Littlestone had me dreaming about the landscapes of Rome and Tuscany and all the ancient culture and architecture. It was a wonderful journey which had me thinking about my own life. The past memories had a smooth resonance in the present, connected to discoveries of the ancient life.

Nanette’s style of writing had the maturity and strength which made the prose almost like a lyrical poetry. I liked the way she conveyed the painful emotions which tugged the main character in different directions. I could feel her intimate thoughts deep in me. I understood her. Flynn was an awesome human being who stood by her with his love.

There was something which niggled me, I wanted Toscana to be more than what she was; even after finding her inner self and dealing with all the battles thrown at her, she didn’t reach for the stars. I kept egging her from the shadows to find her destiny. My words didn’t reach her ears.

I believe in past lives and reincarnation and the energy of the soul, and hence this book touched me way more than a love story.

I downloaded a digital copy of this book from kindle unlimited, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!!

Nanette Littlestone never knew she wanted to be a writer until she was over 40. But once she began, the ideas didn’t stop. Her fascination with relationships, history, and the spiritual path has opened her writing to women’s fiction, historical fiction, and inspirational nonfiction.

A native Californian, Nanette lives in Atlanta, Georgia, far from the beach (which she loves) but a place that’s warm with spectacular scenery. On the professional side, she helps entrepreneurial women write from the heart, get published, and inspire others. On the fun side, she takes walks with her husband, cooks, plays with graphic design, and makes origami butterflies. She loves to travel, but she’s waiting for the teleportation machine to whisk her off to Greece or Asia. In the meantime, she’s happy with dark chocolate and romantic movies that make her cry.

On the night of her fiftieth birthday, the comfortable ride of Toscana’s life takes an alarming plunge. Haunted by seductive visions, she tries to push aside the desire and focus on the husband who adores her. Then she falls for Flynn, a younger man with an eye for adventure and a heart full of romance, who leaves her doubting everything she’s believed about love and passion.

In Atlanta, Rome, and the lush scenery of Tuscany, Toscana searches for answers to the mysteries of her life while she faces her biggest question. If she listens to her feelings will she lose everything she holds dear, or does her heart hold the key to love and joy?

      1. Cervical sprain… Sheesh…
Alternate ice pack and warm water bag on the part.. For some this works…
I use ice pack on sprains… My doc tells me to use hot water but for me hot water bag exacerbates pain.. Ice cools it down, for some ice causes further muscle spasm

Kim, Mahanarayanan oil or dhanwantaram oil which is available in amazon.com should work. Do a test patch on the inner elbow for allergic reaction… I use that rather than allopathy… And I massage that gently for my parents too… It is Ayurvedic…

      1. Warm ginger water should help
Boil water +add slices of ginger + cover it + wait till it is drinkable + strain the water = warm ginger water.
Just take care that ginger is acceptable to you and it should not be too pungent, add more warm water if it is.
