Book Review – Hunting Ground by L J Morris @LesJMorris @BOTBSPublicity #BookReview #BlogTour #thriller
Many thanks to Sarah and BOTBS Publicity for my spot on this Blog Tour.
Ali Sinclair and Frank McGill were back, again racing around the country to save the world against the nuclear threat. This time they had to keep a third character and the secrets he carried safe.
Book 2 in the series, my first by author LJ Morris, this was a fast paced action filled thriller. The author’s writing was clear and crisp as if I was seeing a movie. The scenes had a vivid imagery. I was quite enamored by the book. Book 1 ought to be read to understand the plot and love the characters.
Action thrillers are generally difficult to imagine, but the author made it easy to visualize the larger than life Ali Sinclair. She was a brilliant character, in fact, the moment she entered the book to help Frank, there was a presence to her entry and a dynamism to her role. I loved everything about her especially the way she took on the bad guys. A kick-ass babe!!
Overall, quite a thrilling read on a Sunday afternoon.
I received a free ARC from Sarah and the author, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.
All my reviews can be read here
Freed from prison and back in Europe, Ali Sinclair has one job… find Frank McGill.
The information he has is vital if they are to end the conspiracy that threatens to bring down the Government and push NATO to the brink of war.
With terrorist attacks increasing and a mole at the top of the establishment, Sinclair and McGill will need to use all their skills to follow the clues across the continent in a deadly treasure hunt that drags them back towards London.
But when you’re being hunted by assassins and the authorities… going home isn’t always the safest option.

Nice review Shalini. I like that label, “Action Thriller”. I enjoy this type of story, so will put this one on my TBR and hopefully get to it eventually.
