Book Review – All the Wrong Places by Joy Fielding @joyfielding @ZaffreBooks @Tr4cyF3nt0n #BookReview #BlogTour #suspense

Many thanks to Tracy Fenton and Compulsive Readers for my spot on this Blog Tour.

Online dating soon became the cess spot for a killer where he could pluck off the ripe victims.

An intriguing story which brought 4 women best friends Paige and Chloe, cousin Heather and mom Jane to try out online dating to find the right companion. But they fell into the web spin by the killer.

My first book by author Joy Fielding, the suspense built up slowly. Many a time, I wanted to warn these women to stop swiping. The dangers of online dating was well shown. I was always scared, now I am petrified. Never would I go that way!!

The writing was smooth with multiple POV including the killer’s. The twists were sharply felt. The scenes kept to the right side of graphic, so thankfully no nightmares. The author’s writing brought out the drama of relationships along with the suspense of the murder. I never knew what would happen next.

There was something hypnotic about this story that even with fear in my heart, I was compelled to read the story at one go. A great way to start my weekend with suspense and murder.

I downloaded the digital version of this book from an online seller, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.

All my reviews can be read here

Joy Fielding (née Tepperman; born March 18, 1945) is a Canadian novelist and actress. She lives in Toronto, Ontario.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, she graduated from the University of Toronto in 1966, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. As Joy Tepperman, she had a brief acting career, appearing in the film Winter Kept Us Warm (1965) and in an episode of Gunsmoke. She later changed her last name to Fielding (after Henry Fielding) and began writing novels.
Fielding is also the screenwriter of the television film Golden Will: The Silken Laumann Story.

Four women–friends, family, rivals–turn to online dating for companionship, only to find themselves in the crosshairs of a tech-savvy killer using an app to target his victims in this harrowing thriller from the New York Times bestselling author of See Jane Run and The Bad Daughter.

A husband’s death, a difficult divorce, a brutal break-up, dissatisfaction with a boring relationship: for various reasons, four women turn to online dating, hoping to right-swipe the way to love and happiness.

Paige and Heather are cousins, locked in a lifelong rivalry that recently culminated in Heather taking Paige’s boyfriend for herself, although now Heather isn’t quite sure she wants him. Paige’s mother, Joan, is trying to get back on her feet after the death of the love of her life two years ago. And Paige’s longtime friend, Chloe, is considering giving her unfaithful husband a taste of his own medicine.

Together, the women are navigating the choppy waters of online dating, until one of them unwittingly makes a date with a killer, starting the clock on a race to save her life.
