Many thanks to Anne Cater and Random Things Tours for my spot on this Blog Tour.
A story with social media and a murder. Quite a twisted take it was, a whodunit at its core with an unexpected reveal of the Magpie Man.
Jessica lost her mother to the killer Magpie Man at age 7. And he was never identified. When she got the opportunity to star in the reality show, she took it up hoping clues about her mother’s murder would come to light. The world was watching and so was the killer.
My first book by Ralph Vincent, I loved the way the book took its dips and turns as it revealed the story in each page. It kept me on my toes over the weekend. Being a YA thriller, I did get the teen aspect of it, yet the author maintained the aura of a serial killer with his words.
Jessica was earnest and determined, I loved the way she tried to get justice for her mother. I don’t get the YouTube generation, but the character worked for me. The story was fast paced, it kept me on the go, trying to outrun the killer and get to his identity. The emotions were hard hitting, the author’s writing kept me gripped to the story.
The final reveal was unexpected, and I had so much fun getting to it. Overall, a fast fun read, just perfect for a lazy weekend.
I received a free ARC from NetGalley and publisher, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.

Ten years ago, Jess’s mother was murdered by the Magpie Man.
She was the first of his victims but not the last.
Now Jess is the star of a YouTube reality series and she’s using it to catch the killer once and for all.
The whole world is watching her every move.
And so is the Magpie Man.
