Audiobook Review – Secrets & Lies by Andrew Cunningham @arcnovels @GH_Narrator @AnAudiobookworm #AudiobookReview #BlogTour #thriller

Many thanks to Jess and Audiobookworm Promotions for my spot on this Blog Tour.

One of the fastest action thriller books that I’ve heard/read on recent times.

A box with life-changing secrets was lost when a plane went down in 1996. Now 20 years later, that secret emerged again. And this time Del and girlfriend Sabrina were right in the center of it. A gunshot in the middle of the night generally would do that, you know!!😂 Del and Sabrina then went on to help their friends.

My first audiobook by author Andrew Cunningham and narrator Greg Hernandez, I loved the narration. It was fast paced and lively. The intonations brought out the different expressions of the story. The author’s writing came alive by the narration as I could visualize the scenes easily. I found that I could go a speed higher while listening to the narrator. It was that clear.

The story had its twists and turns with a massive reveal at the beginning of it. Then on it was a race against time. I couldn’t help but try to scramble fast to keep up with the main characters. I have to be honest here. I have no patience when it comes to a thriller, I have to get to the ending fast.

So I downloaded the digital version of the book from Kindle Unlimited, and got to the ending faster than the narrator. What can I say, I love my thrillers and their unexpected exciting end scenes.

I received a free audiobook code from Jesse and the author, and this is my journey into its pages, straight from the heart!! STRICTLY HONEST AND UNBIASED.

All my reviews can be read here

On the afternoon of May 11, 1996, ValuJet 592 plunged into the Florida Everglades. There were no survivors. But something came through the crash unscathed: a small box with huge implications for humankind. And the one man unlucky enough to discover its whereabouts disappeared without a trace.

Now, 20 years later, the mystery of Flight 592 hits close to home for Del Honeycutt and bestselling mystery author Sabrina Spencer. A shocking revelation launches them into the middle of a dark conspiracy, and locating the box becomes a matter of life or death. They are not alone in the hunt for the mysterious parcel and very quickly learn that others will stop at nothing to find it and will eliminate anyone who stands in their way.

With killers hot on their trail, Del and Sabrina must navigate dangers lurking both above and below the swamp waters of the Everglades in order to find the box … and to survive.
