MY REVIEW

Jessica Redland is one of the best authors who could write emotions. Her books can make me cry then smile with hope. And I always know that it is going to be a HEA. This book too made me feel.

Hollie and Jake, 2 souls who had been hurt before, were brought together by the strength of this author’s words.

Not a big romance reader I am, but I make sure I get to this author’s books. Her prose was emotive where I couldn’t help but dive into the fiber of her storytelling, allowing all those emotions to bathe me.

The author wrote not with ink in her pen but with all her heart. I loved that she gave it her all in every book. I loved how she evoked my emotions so much so that I rooted for these characters. They were well developed, each with issues that slowly resolved over the pages.

This book absolutely took me away from my real life and healed me too. Power of the author’s words.

This author is so talented and so loving as a human being. She understood what pain I was in on the pandemic and showed immense support.

MY RATING

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Since she inherited The Starfish Café, Hollie has poured her heart into the business, striving to keep her mother’s traditions and warm-hearted spirit alive. But behind closed doors Hollie is searching for true happiness as she grieves the tragic loss of her family who were once the beating heart of the café…

An unexpected meeting.

Jake lives by two rules: don’t let anyone get close and don’t talk about what happened. Little does he know that a chance meeting at The Starfish Café, facilitated by a fluffy lost dog, is about to turn his world upside down…

The chance to love again.
